Health Tech Product, Pitch, and QBR Decks
Here are samples from a variety of decks developed in partnership with ELT and cross-functional teams, with the aim of translating complex healthcare technology content into accessible presentations for investors and clients. They reflect an updated brand identity implemented following a merger. My process included deck organization, brand design, editing and content support, and incorporating dynamic elements for clarity and engagement.
Additional efforts included creating a toolbox of templates, design and support assets for non-designers, as well as brand-aligned one-pagers, case studies, banners, and other outreach materials.
Excerpt from a Pager Health Award deck, with some video elements for emphasis and a celebratory feel.
Reference materials and short PowerPoint tip videos provide support for the non-designers in the organization.
Professional Development Deck
This Fortune 10 tech company instituted a comprehensive professional development program that aimed to provide a 'marketing MBA' to members of key internal teams. Working with the VP of Marketing, the process involved taking first-draft content, recommending edits, and visually streamlining and organizing the extensive course into manageable, engaging sessions. Since these sessions covered a lot of ground, organization was key, so the structure featured color-coded sections and activities that made it easier for attendees to follow. Targeted use of animation and graphics helped highlight key points and boost engagement for an all-virtual eight-week training program.
Tech Company Personas
In addition to executive, sales, and product decks, support included marketing material such as this, that delineated and defined various customer personas. Developing a reference tool that could contain deeper details, yet still remain useful and accessible, required a structure that allowed for two detail pages for each persona (job titles, descriptions, testimonials), with an overview and intro section up front. Color-coding the personas helped to visually organize the content, making it more convenient to use.
Organizational Playbook
Large organizations often have sub-orgs with their own annual goals, OKRs, tracking data, mission, etc. The assignment was to create a resource that staff could continue to reference throughout the year. This Division Playbook included masses of information for several teams, illustrating goals and duties for each, and how each worked with and intersected the others. A 'Home' link in the upper right corner solved a navigation issue, becoming a quick jump point that took people back to the table of contents, making it easy to get the specific information they needed.
Excerpt from a Foundation project. The audience included educators, administrators, and partners, and featured an overview of recent successes, feedback from a global survey, and next steps for the upcoming year.
There was an opportunity to make something more of what started as a text-heavy pdf with small type, and evolving it into an interactive reference tool that sales reps could use in real time while talking with prospects.
Tech Company Product Deck
This deck highlights new security cameras and services available for companies looking to establish or improve the security for their physical locations. The design reflects a brand update, is clean and minimalist, and incorporates animations to enhance audience engagement.
Insurance Industry Trends Template
This insurance company provides a quarterly economic snapshot featuring essential industry data and analysis. It was originally done outside of the creative team, was dense and text-heavy, with no visual branding.
The new layout accommodates more data, is more accessible, and features links so readers can deep-dive specific points of interest. A PowerPoint template was also set up to make future reports easier for the team to create.
This presentation better showcases a key member offering.
Code of Conduct
Starting with a Word doc from the company's Legal Department, this employee Code of Conduct for a CPG food manufacturer was developed to compile key information and to help staff navigate tricky situations in the workplace.
Designed to be easy to navigate, it features links to detailed policies and the company intranet, as well as a list of specific department contacts. Copy was broken up into shorter paragraphs with color-coded chapters and photos to support each topic.
Showcasing valuable data
A data analyst group provides regular reports with key economic trends and analysis vital to retail businesses. The deck content above was originally all on two slides which essentially buried valuable data.
My suggestion was to redesign the presentation to make it more engaging and to better highlight important statistics.
By dividing the content over more slides, the audience can better access this information and better understand its potential impact on their business. Stronger branding and design, along with animation, made the deck more effective.
Management Consultancy Deck & Toolkit
Organizations have many challenges, including how to retain talent and foster innovative teams.
This client helps universities, startups, and corporations work through leadership obstacles and institute strong communication practices and processes.
The goal was to create some decks for immediate use, as well as a template the consultancy's in-house team could use for future events, incorporating a recent brand update and keeping a sense of hands-on, personalized service. A 'toolbox' with additional assets (images, logos, pattern files, fonts, and other visual supports) was also created.
Agency Pitch Deck
To elevate this deck and strengthen the branding, the approach was to go bolder — that included enlarging the agency logo significantly and using a crop of it for the segue slides, using full-bleed photography, and leaning into the agency's clean, minimal color palette.
